Jared Mangum DC, BS, BS, LMT:
Graduated from Sensory Development Institute at the Green Valley Spa with a massage degree in 2002. He moved to Northern Utah to pursue his academic aspirations of becoming a unique LMT/Chiropractor in 2003. He met his wife there and was married in 2004. While attending school and working full time he was able to graduate from SLCC (Salt Lake Community College) with a AS (Associate of Science) in general science in 2006. He transferred to The University of Utah and finished his first BS (Bachelor of Science) in speech communication in 2008. He moved his then small family of 4 to Portland, Oregon to attend chiropractic school at UWS (University of Western States). Dr. Mangum attended school with his brother Dr. Kevin Mangum and they both worked hard by completing a four year chiropractic degree in about 3.5 years. They graduated together in 2011 with a DC (Doctorate of Chiropractic) and a second BS in human biology.
Dr. Mangum decided to move back to Northern Utah and chose American Fork/Pleasant Grove area to settle his family now 7 strong. He and his wife Julie had about 5-6 conversations about being in Southern Utah since starting his practice in Utah County. They just didn’t feel it was the right time to uproot and move. In the summer of 2014, the time was right and Dr. Jared Mangum sold his then successful practice to longtime school friend Dr. Bruce MacDonald (who had moved to Utah from Portland with his family). Dr. Mangum was informed by his sister that Dr. Mazel Callisters office was up for lease. He made a phone call to and reached Dr. Callisters daughter who was relieved to rent it to a chiropractor since it has been a chiropractic office since it was built.
He loves spending time with his wife and five children. He grew up southern Utah and enjoys the outdoors, sports, and being around nature that it offers.
